Anarchy has a bad rep, mostly due to crazies in the news. But it really just means:
- a state of disorder due to absence or nonrecognition of authority or other controlling systems.
2.the organization of society on the basis of voluntary cooperation, without political institutions or hierarchical government.
I find myself not in agreement with the controlling systems currently. I am not advocating complete disarray and chaos, but finding subtle, gentle ways to show displeasure and change the system. Ways that could include, but not be limited to: creating art that makes people think, calling out someone on misinformation, choosing to buy from small businesses instead of large corporations, etc.
The original painting was done using spray paint on a stretched canvas. This print measures 19x13, with the picture at 18x12.
